APEAMEX PROMOTES THE PRESENCE OF MEXICO STATE AVOCADOS IN JAPAN

Participation in FOODEX Japan 2026 strengthens APEAMEX’s presence in one of the most important markets for Mexican avocados.

Japan represents a strategic market for Mexican avocados. In 2024, it became the third-largest destination for Mexico’s national avocado exports, with transactions totaling approximately 108 million dollars. In addition, Mexico remains its main supplier.

Aware of the relevance and opportunities offered by this market, APEAMEX works to ensure that its affiliated producers and packing facilities comply with the quality, plant health, and food safety standards required to serve highly demanding international markets.

As part of this effort, in 2026 APEAMEX participated in FOODEX Japan, the most important food and beverage trade show in Asia and one of the leading international platforms for promotion, business networking, and the opening of new markets.

Participation in this event provided an opportunity to promote the quality and potential of avocados from the State of Mexico to international buyers and representatives of the agri-food sector, while also strengthening its position in a market of great importance for Mexican exports.

Mexican avocados have already reached Japan. However, APEAMEX remains committed to expanding its presence through ongoing promotional, business networking, and commercial development initiatives that create new opportunities for producers and packing facilities across the state.

At APEAMEX, we continue to drive a more competitive and professional sector, prepared to meet the demands of the world’s most discerning markets.

APEAMEX is the gateway to avocados from the State of Mexico, the third-largest avocado-producing state in the country. We bring together thousands of producers and leading packing facilities, prepared to meet the demands of national and international markets.
