APEAMEX-affiliated producers comply with the requirements established under NOM-066-FITO-1995 and hold certifications under Food Safety Risk Reduction Systems. They also have organic certifications such as LPO, NOP, and COR, as well as commercial certifications and recognitions including GLOBALG.A.P., GRASP, and Rainforest Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These achievements reflect the commitment of avocado producers from the State of Mexico to remaining at the forefront of plant health, food safety, sustainability, and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sector\u2019s infrastructure has also made significant progress. Currently, the State of Mexico has two packing facilities certified by the National Service for Agro-Alimentary Public Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA), enabling them to prepare avocados for export to various international destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
