At APEAMEX, we are proud that the only two packing facilities in the State of Mexico with certifications issued by the National Service for Agro-Alimentary Public Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA) are part of our association.

These certifications demonstrate compliance with plant health requirements and the implementation of Contamination Risk Reduction Systems, which are essential for strengthening food safety throughout the handling and conditioning of the product.

These certifications reflect the ongoing commitment of producers and packing facilities to plant health, food safety, quality, and compliance with the standards applicable to the transportation and commercialization of Mexican avocados.

The packing facilities not only hold official certifications, but also commercial certifications such as GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, Kosher, among others.

Having certified packing facilities strengthens the State of Mexico’s capacity to serve domestic and international markets. It also provides greater assurance regarding its processes and contributes to establishing Mexican avocados as a competitive, high-quality product.
